Resilient & booming property market

R4230313 01

The property market on the Costa del Sol has shown incredible resilience despite high interest rates and the geopolitical crisis in Europe and throughout the world.

The interest from foreign buyers remains all time high, and number of sales equal the boom days in 2018 – 2019 and before that the years between 2005 – 2007, hence the stock of properties is low, resulting in spiking property prices, and there are no signs of it slowing down.

Property prices in 2022 in Spain in general increased by 5,4%, however on the Costa del Sol the figures are very different. In Marbella property prices increased by 19,9%, the highest increase in any mayor municipality in the whole of Spain.

Property prices in Estepona, Fuengirola, Mijas & Malaga capital increased by 12,5%, 12,2%, 14,2 %, 8%, respectively, just to name a few.
